How teens make Instagram eBay, a collar that makes your dog cuss, and the effects of a carbon tax.
Happy Monday!
Just a heads up, today is the memorial service for Kobe and I plan on being offline & crying 😭 while watching it - So if you need me, ITS GONNA HAVE TO WAIT!
On another note, as I curated today’s email, I just LOVE the eclectic-ness of todays stories. From a dog collar that makes your dog cuss, to the affects of a carbon tax - I curate and send this email cause there is no other source out there(that I’ve seen) that keeps it as random & informative as this email 😬. I hope you’re enjoying the randomness as well!

This is SUPER SMART, SUPER CREATIVE, and JUST FUCKING COOL. The next generation is ALWAYS a step ahead. Ya see, I believe that children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way… Us old people suck!
“We’ve helped 400 clothes be REUSED AND RE-LOVED by someone, instead of being thrown BACK INTO THE LANDFILL."
Before she goes to school, she takes outfit pictures when there’s good natural light in her room. During her free period, she replies to customers and updates them on orders. After school, she packages products and prints shipping labels, or goes to Goodwill to buy merchandise she thinks her customers will like.

Carbon Taxes Would Boost Jobs across the U.S.

I know that most of you consider me a “Carbon Tax” expert, but I must confess I am far from tha. But I am a fan for any measures that help us be less of an asshole to our finite planet. Go ahead, Please make your argument why you want to continue to be an asshole to our planet.
They evaluated a $25 and $60 tax on each metric ton of carbon dioxide emitted by the U.S. energy system. Both scenarios would cut emissions greatly, largely by pushing up the price of fossil fuels, thereby encouraging industries and consumers to use cleaner energy sources and improve energy efficiency.

Liquid Death, a canned water company, (you read that right CANNED WATER) raises $9M.

Honestly, I don’t know much about this company, or the water business, but I did read a cool thing about Liquid Death. Some person said that while drinking canned water at a party, they felt less pressure to be holding a beer since they were holding a can of aggressively designed water so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
“The most important thing, first and foremost, is that when someone buys it, they enjoy drinking this water from a can. When they actually have a freezing cold can of Liquid Death, people will continue to come back because they like the product experience.”
An NHL team turned to it’s Zamboni driver as emergency goalie

I can’t be the only one who’s had this fantasy before right?
The 42-year-old Ayres was forced into action in Marlies gear and a Hurricanes jersey midway through the second period after Carolina’s James Reimer and Petr Mrazek were injured.
Cuss Collar Is a Dog Collar That Swears Whenever Your Dog Barks
