How rebellion leads to innovation - an interview with John S. Couch, Hulu’s VP of Product Design

The author, artist, and Hulu's VP of Product Design shares the surprisingly simple philosophy that drives his restless creativity.
This article JUMPED out at me because its true - well at least for me it is. Ask anyone who’s worked with me, and I normally start my process with some completely against-the-grain idea, which we rarely every use as is, but it‘s part of the process that gets us closer to the “right” answer.
Vaccines without needles – new shelf-stable film could revolutionize how medicines are distributed worldwide

The race is on to identify an effective vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. Once discovered, the next challenge will be manufacturing and distributing it around the world.
My research group has developed a novel method to stabilize live viruses and other biological medicines in a rapidly dissolving film that does not require refrigeration and can be given by mouth.
Question, why the hell has it taken science so damn long to rid the world of the dreaded “shot” - c’mon?!?!?! I’m a grown ass man, and to this day, I sincerely do not enjoy having medicine violently injected into my body. There must be a group of evil scientists that is being lobbied by the needle industry, stifling the anti-shot movement…
We have self-driving cars. We have drones. We have access to all the content in the world in our pocket. DEATH TO SHOTS!
This kids collection of pipe cleaner creatures is FUCKING INCREDIBLE

This, “I’m Gonna Win” Tee

Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign, a women-led organization that raises money and awareness for important social causes, directs all their net proceeds to various non-profit partners. Their “I’m Gonna Win” T-shirt is inspired by one worn by Diana Ross during a charity tennis match in the ’70s. Funds from its sale benefit Higher Heights, an organization that elevates, supports and celebrates black women’s political power by investing in the next generation of political leaders, mobilizing voters, increasing representation and more.
The Rolling Stones doing an impromptu set with Muddy Waters
Holy hell is this cool. Muddy Waters is on stage doing what he does, and he notices The Rolling Stones in the crowd. They invite them on stage to jam, and it’s so so F’ing cool. Jump to 5:30 for the action
Unfortunately for the legendary Rolling Stones, when performing next to someone like Muddy Waters, boy do they look… amateur, fight me!

There’s nothing like the energy (or smell) of NYC.
And lastly… Men, tired of your polo shirt not staying in place, I got you!
