Wanted to start this email with some gratitude, so give me a moment here 😬
First, thank you for READING my email. I know now more than ever you’re being inundated with… well…shit… I try to make sure you’re at least seeing the coolest of it. Thank you.
Thank you for LIKING & SHARING, I know it can be a hassle, but my goal has always been to share as much cool shit with as many cool people as possible. Every “heart” you click, or email you forward means someone new gets introduced to #CoolShit. Thank you!
Lastly, thank you for the COFFEE, no joke, I damn near cry whenever I get the “someone bought you a coffee” notification. THANK YOU 🙏🏻 ❌💯
Okay, now I’ll give you what you came here for.
I’m still trying to find my groove on Fridays so today, I’m going to fill the email full of things(most of which I shared earlier this week) to watch, read, & listen whilst quarantining for another weekend.
Happy weekend - do something cool! See you Monday!

Watched this over the weekend - it’s dope. Really insightful into the early Wu-Tang years.

It will only take 11 minutes for you to be a fan of Neighborhood Nip.

👂Things to listen to
The new Thundercat album, “It is what it is”
If you’ve never heard Mr. Cat, he’s funky. He’s jazzy. He’s soulful. Above all, Thundercat is the perfect amount of weird.
Anthony Valadez’ “Sounds For Plant Lovers” series
From Jay Electronica, to mariachi covers of Princes “Let’s go crazy” - his shows are easy to vibe out to. Specifically listen to the show linked above, someone got a shout out 😬
Yes I know how dumb this sounds - play-by-play calling an imaginary NBA game. But for a brief second it felt like everything was as it once was. I highly recommend listening in to a game, even if only for a minute.
Levar Burton reading on Twitter
He’s reading for Adults tonight, on Twitter, starting at 6:00PM PST
Cannonball Adderley Quintet, “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”
This track starts with a pretty inspiring monologue about “adversity” - which I’m sure we could all use a little of that today.
