“May the fourth be with you”
Being that it’s Star Wars day, I want to start you with this non Star Wars, but very Star Wars-y classic (20 minutes)
Written by George Lucas. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Music by Michael Jackson.
There’s so much I love about this. The “this is what the future is going to look like” aesthetic. The music. The break-dancing. It’s just so damn nostalgic.
What I listened to while curating this morning
gorilla vs. bear sunday mix 009 | Sofia Kourtesis (1:07:33)

Full of eclectic indie(never liked the word indie, but…) sounds from the past & present.
Only watch if you need a laugh.
The beginning of the COVID inspired creative revolution.
Ever seen a push-up to front flip?
🤯
The Biohoodie, with built in mask

Welcome to our future. Not only do I think this is a good idea, I think… know… we’ll be seeing more and more of these types of integrated products.
Here’s Princess Diana running fast AF

You can clearly see that she’s trying to CRUSH these other moms - which is, I love it.
Photos: Los Angeles on Lockdown

Enjoy these photos now, cause this will NEVER happen again. …i hope
This collection of Dr. Seuess Books read over Dr. Dre beats
This is great, and also, we’re bored.
This “Cabinet of Natural Curiosities” by Albertus Seba

Science before technology, I love it.
Packed with careful illustrations of striped snakes, preserved creatures, and now-extinct animals, Cabinet of Natural Curiositiesis one of the most impressive natural history compendiums of the 18th Century. Spanning nearly 600 pages, the new edition from Taschen features the work of Amsterdam-based pharmacist and zoologist Albertus Seba, who was a renowned collector of natural life.
Parks & Recreation did an “at-home” special that is very creative. (25 minutes)
I was a big fan of the show and this is one of the first creative executions in the time of COVID that is done REALY WELL.
Post COVID, let’s eat in the parking lot

Restaurants and bars, in particular, will have trouble handling the new rules.
Fortunately, almost every restaurant in America has the ability to quadruple its footprint overnight, with one weird trick: putting tables in the parking lot.
I REALLY like this idea. It would make any community more lively & communal, but in a safe way.

The Hood Internet Presents 1984 (3:03)
Samples of more than 50 songs from 1984 mixed together into one 3-minute song by The Hood Internet.
1984 had some bangers! You can’t listen to this and not like it.
“In the end, the answer is: Never bet against America,” ~Warren Buffett
I agree 🇺🇸
I love the hodge-podge nature of this list. I've been making a living from sending email to audiences for years, but I'm working on a new newsletter that is also a hodge-podge of what I find interesting, and I like the way you're presenting things here!
Btw, favs were that Princess Diana video and the stunning photo of LA.
