Inside the Coronavirus: What scientists know about the inner workings of the pathogen that has infected the world
Amid America's #COVID19 disaster, I must come clean about a lie I spread as a health insurance exec: We spent big $$ to push the idea that Canada's single-payer system was awful & the U.S. system much better. It was a lie & the nations' COVID responses prove it. The truth: (1/6)

It's been a rough few weeks and I've been having lots of conversations. Something that came out of those conversations was the realization that everyone is in different places of their educational journey surrounding racial injustice. I may be at letter T, and others may be at letter D, or J or V. ⠀⠀Instead of content as usual, I am putting together a quick guide on some high level topics about race. This is by no means an exhaustive list nor can I share/educate about an entire topic in an instagram post. So, if any of these posts spark something in you, look into it further. My hope is to spread what I do know, have learned and am still learning. These topics are uncomfortable and drawing illustrations for each topic has made me uncomfortable. But through the discomfort is growth, as they say. ⠀ ⠀SO ⠀⠀As the beautiful black woman I was named after said, "Do the best you can until you know better, then when you know better, do better" - Maya Angelou ⠀⠀#blacklivesmatter #allyship #ally #education #racialinjustice #nojusticenopeace #unlearnandrelearn #educateyourself #changethenarrative #socialjustice #takeastand #illustration #illustrator #ipadpro #procreate #daliydesignpick #illustratorsofinstagram #procreateart #womenofillustration #illustree #blackcreatives #blackart June 9, 2020
